Dr. Brian Thompson - Principal

Mr. Brian Thompson is proud to serve as the Principal of Francis Howell Union High School, entering his first year in the role and his 30th year in education. He began his career as an Industrial Technology teacher before transitioning into school administration in 2002. In 2009, he joined the Francis Howell School District as an Assistant Principal, where he has supported students and staff with dedication and a focus on continuous improvement.

Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia, a Master’s degree from Lindenwood University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Maryville University.

Outside of school, Mr. Thompson is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking.
